On Sunday 11th October 2009 5 of our elite squad girls competed at the A Star Open Competition in Exeter. In the past we have done extremely well in this competition and this was no exception,

In the Under 8 category we had Lucie Bower and Georgia Lea, for Georgia this was her 1st four piece competition and for Lucie this was the highest level competition she has ever competed at.

In the Under 9 category we had Emily and Amy Philbin and Olivia Dean; these girls are more experienced competitors and used this competition to try new skills.

Lucie Bower – 4^thoverall,
1^st on Vault, 2^nd on bars, 5^th on beam and floor

Georgia Lea – 6^thoverall,
2^nd on floor, 5^th on bars and 6^th on vault and beam

L4 out of age

Emily Philbin – 2^nd overall,
1^st on vault, 2^nd on beam and floor and 3^rd on bars

Amy Philbin – 3^rd overall,
2^nd on vault and bars, 3^rd on beam and floor

Olivia Dean – 4^th overall,
4^th on bars and floor, 5^th on beam and 6^th on vault
