On Saturday 5th November 2011 11 year old Imogen Plumridge represented the club at the British Level 2 Age Group Championships. Imogen who had qualified to compete at this prestigious competition back in September has had a bad year with injuries resulting in having to take 2 months off training just before the summer. However Imogen competed extremely well against the very best in Britain.

Imogen – Overall 26th place, her highlight being her fab vault which scored a massive 12.55 she is now ranked 8th in Britain on this piece of apparatus.

On Sunday 6th November 9 year old Hollie Perkin represented the club and also the South West region at the British Level 4 Age Group Championships. Hollie who qualified in 3rd place at the Regional Qualifiers to compete as part of the South West team had a fantastic competition and was the top SW scorer. Hollie had a slight uncharacteristic error on beam which kept her out of the top 5 but competed extremely well the best 9 year olds in Britain.

Hollie – Overall 21st place, her highlight being her bar routine where she score 12.45 which was the 8th highest score of the competition on this piece of apparatus. Hollie’s team also placed 8th overall in what was an extremely tough competition.
