On Saturday 24th April two of our elite gymnasts represented the South West Region at the British Grade 8 National Finals. Amy and Emily Philbin who were selected for the team after impressive performances at the Regional Qualifiers both competed with confidence and determination to help the South West team finish in a fantastic 6th place (2 places higher then last year.)
The team competed against 12 other teams from across Britain which included: The South, The North, South East, North West, East Midlands, West Midlands, East, London, Yorkshire, Isle of Man, Wales and Scotland.
Individually the girls competed against 50 gymnasts and did exceptionally well to finish 29th and 32nd overall.
