On Sunday 27th March many of the top gymnasts in Britain headed up to Newcastle to compete at the British Schools Championships. 10 year old Charlie Plumridge one of the clubs elite gymnasts was selected to compete as part of the South West Under 12 Junior team and her twin Imogen was selected as the reserve; this was a fantastic achievement and a great Honour.

Unfortunately Charlie had to pull out a week before the competition due to a leg injury, however Imogen was happy to step in and compete.

Imogen competed against some of the best Under 12’s in the Country and placed 23rd individually despite a few uncharacteristic mistakes. However despite these mistakes Imogen helped the S.W Under 12 team to finish as Junior Champions!!!! The team were 7 whole marks ahead of the second placed team a massive margin at such a prestigious National Competition!

Well done Imogen yet again you have made the club and your coach very proud!
