On Sunday 12th July 2009 six of our squad gymnasts competed at the Devon Team Championships. We entered one team in the Under 12 open Category (the hardest level aimed at the elite gymnasts).

Our team were all aged 8 and 9 making them the youngest team in this level. Charlie Plumridge, Imogen Plumridge, Amy Philbin, Emily Philbin and Olivia Dean came away as team silver medallists.

Individually Charlie was our top scorer finishing in 4th place; this is a great achievement as she was competing against 10 and 11 year olds from other clubs.

In the Over 12 intermediate section we entered Amy Washbrook as an individual she had a brilliant competition and came away as the overall bronze medallist top scoring Beam and floor.
