Paignton Community & Sports College - a designated specialist Sports College since Sept '02. Through
achieving Specialist School Status it has received extra funding which is helping to improve provision
for sport both in the College and in the local community.

The Devon Youth Games bring together young people from all over the County in a Festival covering
various sports and is entered by teams from the Local Authorities. The event attracts
around 1,500 participants and is for 8-16 year olds who have not had the opportunity to
play at County level before but have a special ability and enthusiasm for their sport.
