Management Team
The club is run on a day-to-day basis by the management team, which comprises:
- Nicci Tucker - Head Coach and General Manager
- Jenn Wilton, Rachel Tucker & Julie Clarke

Nicci Tucker

Nicci has been with the club since 1994 - initially as an enthusiastic parent helper. She
took her first coaching course and exam, Assistant Club Coach, in 1999. In 2000 she
went on to take her Club Coach in Women's Artistic Gymnastics and together with
Jeanette Butterworth and Julie Gibson, took over the running of the club when the
previous Head Coach Val Charlton retired. Jeanette and Julie left the club due to
work commitments and Nicci took over as Head Coach and General Manager in 2004.
She was joined on the management team by Sharon Proctor in September of that year.
From September this year, after Sharon moved to pastures new, the management team
has grown to include Jenn, Julie & Rachel who will share the responsibility of
assisting Nicci. |
Rachel Tucker
Rachel has been with the club since 1994, first as a gymnast, rising to represent
Devon for several years. For the last few years Rachel has been coaching the girl's squad &
recreational girls, recently taking on the boy's pre-squad. She has just gained her Men's &
Women's Artistic Coach award. She also judges at Women's club level. Rachel will be responsible
for competition organisation at all levels and is, in conjunction with Nicci, responsible for
all squad group and talent identification.

Jenn Wilton
Jenn has been with the club since 1995, initially as a gymnast competing for the club at county
level. Jenn is responsible for the girl's and boy's recreational groups. She also helps Julie
in the pre-school classes, Rachel in squad groups and coaches our School Programme. Her
management role will be dealing with BG insurances, bills and ordering of club merchandise. Jenn will
be head of recreational gymnastics, working under Nicci as head coach.

Julie Clarke
Julie has been with the club since xxxx. Julie coaches in pre-school and recreational
classes and is responsible for all the pre-school groups. Her management responsibilities
will include enquiries and enrollment.
