On Sunday 1st March 2009 three of our elite squad girls took their
National elite compulsory grade 4 in Wiltshire. All three girls passed which is a brilliant achievement
as this is the first step towards competing at the British Championships.

Charlie Plumridge 4th place overall

8th on vault, 6th on bars, 3rd on beam, 4th on floor and 4th on range.

Imogen Plumridge 6th place overall

7th on vault, 4th on bars, 6th on beam, 6th on floor, 6th on range

Amy Philbin 7th place overall

6th on vault, 5th on bars, 5th on beam, 7th on floor, 7th on range.

These grades are used as a qualifying competition for the grades national finals held in Birmingham.
Charlie was selected to represent the South West region as part of the Compulsory Grade 4 team at the National Final
which will be held on Saturday 2nd May. Charlie will compete against the best 8 and 9 year olds in the Country.
Imogen qualified as the reserve.
The girls did exceptionally well and proved that they can compete amongst the best gymnasts in the region!
