On Sunday 13th June 2010 5 of our elite squad gymnasts represented Devon at the South West Inter-Counties; all 5 girls did an amazing job and should be incredibly proud of what they achieved. Over the 3 levels and age groups Devon placed 2nd and are now currently the 2nd best County in the South West!!

For Amy P, Imogen and Charlie who were all members of the Under 12 team, this was the first time any of them had competed for Devon but they all did a fab job and with the help of their 3 other team mates the team placed 2nd overall! All 3 of these gymnasts are relatively young still and competed with confidence against gymnasts 2 years older than them.

Amy Washbrook who has represented Devon on several occasions only found out on Friday that she had made the team. Olivia Dean (age 10) was the 1st reserve for the Under 12 team and came up on the day to support her team mates however just as warm up was about to start and 1 of the members from the Over 12 team hadn’t arrived Olivia was called up to compete. Both girls competed well to help the Devon team place 5th overall
