On Sunday 27th September 2009, Imogen and Charlie Plumridge 2 of our elite squad gymnasts competed at the South West Age Group Finals, the hardest level of competition for their age.

The competed extremely well against the very best 9 year olds in the Region. Both girls finished in the top 4 and as a result were both selected to repressent the South West Region at the Age Group National Finals in Guilford on Saturday 7th Novmber against the best 9 year olds in the Country. Themselves and 3 girls from Bristol will make up the South West team where they will fight it out with the best to see who will become the British 9 year old champion, the British team champions and also who will make it in to the very prestigious National Squad.

The girls were also selected to become 2009/2010 South West Squad memebers, this means that they will attend training sessions throught the year and train with the best gymnasts in the Region including gymnasts who are in National Squad.
